1 X 2 hour session.
All ARCHES courses are developed using coproduction.
Coproduction is when service users, their family members, carers, and supporters work in an equal and reciprocal manner with mental health professionals in the design, delivery, and evaluation of services.
Coproduction can challenge unbalanced power dynamics and allows for the sharing knowledge, skills, and experiences from different perspectives.
Different types of expertise (i.e. clinical and lived experience) are combined. This means problems can be solved together.
This 2-hour session will help you understand what co-production is, learn why it is so important, find out ways for you to become involved in coproduction.
