An Introduction to Trauma Informed Care in Bray Primary Care Centre

 

 

3 X 2 hour sessions.

 

Co-delivered by a mental health professional and ARCHES staff, this course explains what Trauma Informed Care is, why it is important, how it is provided, and its values.​

 

It looks at the shift in focus from “What is wrong with you?” to “What happened to you?”  and “What is strong with you?”

 

Location: Bray Primary Care Centre, Co. Wicklow

10am –  12pm Thursday 14, 21, 28 March.

 

The Recovery College welcomes anyone residing in Community Healthcare East (Dublin South East, South Dublin, and East Wicklow) who either (1) identifies as having a lived experience of mental health difficulties; (2) is a member of a family impacted by poor mental health; or (3) is a mental health professional working in the Cluain Mhuire or HSE Mental Health Services.
