5 X 2 hour sessions.
Facilitated by a HSE Social Worker and an ARCHES staff member, Willow explores identity and self-care when supporting people in your life who are experiencing mental health difficulties.
The course is called Willow as the Willow branch is a metaphor for the need for supporters to be flexible but not to break.
It examines:
Willow can help supporters articulate and normalise their lived experience; develop new coping mechanisms; and discuss ways of helping their loved one.
Location: Avila House, Blackrock, Co Dublin.
1.30pm – 3.30pm Fridays 6, 13, 20, 27 September, and 4 October
The Willow course is suitable for anyone who is is a member of a family impacted by poor mental health or a friend or supporter of someone experiencing mental health difficulties.
