WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Planning) in Churchtown Community Mental Health Services

 

5 half days (2.5 hour sessions). plus a follow up session

 

Wellness Recovery Action Planning (WRAP) is an evidence based self-management programme that helps people be well and stay well.

  • Learn simple, safe and effective tools
  • Develop a plan to stay on track
  • Gain support to help stay in control

Completing a WRAP course provides people with an action plan that helps them respond to signs that they are struggling or experiencing a life crisis. WRAP can empower people to take care of themselves, tell their supporters how they want to be helped, and communicate to their clinical teams what their preferences are.

 

Location: Churchtown Community Mental Health Services, Unit 12 (3rd floor), Nutgrove Retail Park, Dublin 14, D14 NT35

2pm to 4.30pm 16, 23, 30 September, 7 + 14 October plus follow up session 2pm – 4.30pm on 25 November

 

The Recovery College welcomes anyone residing in Community Healthcare East (Dublin South East, South Dublin, and East Wicklow) who either (1) identifies as having a lived experience of mental health difficulties; (2) is a member of a family impacted by poor mental health; or (3) is a mental health professional working in the Cluain Mhuire or HSE Mental Health Services.
