In ARCHES Recovery College, we aim to build community with a number of different partner organisations. This community helps us work, through coproduction, to bring about meaningful change in mental health services and Irish society. If you would like to collaborate with us, please get in touch.

Lived experience roles in HSE and Cluain Mhuire mental health services

Recent years have seen the introduction of different ‘lived experience’ roles in mental health services:

1. Recovery Educators (people who develop and deliver courses that promote mental health recovery, personal growth, and wellbeing),

2. Engagement Leads (people who speak to, and present the views of, service users and their family members, carers, and supporters in order to make changes to services), and

3. Peer Support Workers (people who share their experience and use coaching and communication skills to support others in their recovery).
